Professor Jerry Wind ( The Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania ) and of Nunzio Quacquarelli ( CEO of QS Quacquarelli Symonds) invites educators to participate in a prestigious global competition:
Wharton – QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards, the “Oscars for pedagogical innovators”.
In 2014, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and QS Quacquarelli Symonds, higher education experts, founded the Wharton-QS Stars Reimagine Education Conference and Awards, now in its third year. It provides a platform for those invested in the future of higher education to truly reimagine it.
Reimagine Education Competition: call for submissions is opening soon.
The deadline is July 31st 2016.
We encourage the innovative educators at our university to submit projects and proposals that are positively impacting, or will positively impact, on the learning experience/outcomes of your students. We also award successful initiatives which are enhancing, or will enhance graduates’ employability.
The competition will provide US$50,000 of funding to the overall winner.
The shortlisted entrants and the winners will be featured in our global communication campaign, providing premium visibility for their project and institution.

The winners will be announced at the Reimagine Education Conference & Awards which will be held in Philadelphia between the 5th and the 7th December 2016. The conference will feature:
Influential higher education experts (Last year’s 30 keynote speakers included Jaime Casap, Chief Education Evangelist at Google; William Rankin, Director of Learning at Apple; and best-selling author Jeremy Rifkin);
Roundtables that bring together academics, ed tech innovators, and tertiary education policy-makers;
Seminars regarding best teaching practice in higher education.
