Hi May 2017 grads; I hope that you noted on the Academic Calendar that tomorrow, October 7 is the last day to submit Applications for Admission to Candidacy for degrees and Proposed Plans of Study for certificates that you expect to receive in May.
The process is quick and easy:
To submit the Application for Admission to Candidacy (AAC) form, please go to the Graduate Forms and Guidelines webpage, and click on the electronic version of the Application for Admission to Candidacy form in the right-hand column of the list, then complete the form online according to the included instructions. Your Academic Advisement Report, accessed from within your Student Center, is a big help in completing this form.
To submit the Proposed Plan of Study (PPS) form for your certificate program, please go to the Graduate Forms and Guidelines webpage, and click on the electronic version of the Proposed Plan of Study form in the right-hand column of the list, then complete the form online according to the included instructions.
Requirements for submitting the documents mentioned are included in the Steps to Graduation link.
The Graduate College is insisting that students pay attention to these deadlines, so please respond if this message pertains to you!! Thanks!

I should be all set. Can't wait!
I'll be graduating in May and I think I've completed all the necessary steps.
It looks like I'm all set thanks to you, Paul. You are always so helpful and thorough. I appreciate it.
I should be graduating May 2017!! I submitted the required documents back in Aug but have not received any notifications yet so I think I'm good.
Notifications are coming, Russ. The Graduate College staff has processed December 2016 grad paperwork as is now working on May 2017 grads.
I submitted the document a few weeks ago, but haven't heard anything. Should I have heard anything? Is there someone I should contact to see if it was received?
I will be graduating in May but did not do this. I will do so ASAP. Who can I contact?
Got your email, Jasmine; I'll be responding a little later today. Thanks!
