Many of you have been asking whether or not your Applications for Admission to Candidacy (AAC) and Proposed Plans of Study (PPS) that you submitted as early as August have been approved. The Graduate College prioritizes processing of our AACs and PPSs, completing those for December grads before May 2017 grads. The Grad College has been understaffed after this summer, so the process has slowed. However, the Grad College is beginning to process all paperwork for May 2017 grads now. You should be receiving email notifications beginning right away, approving your submissions and providing information on the next steps you need to take to be ready for graduation.
Even though the deadline has passed for submitting AACs and PPSs, please go ahead and submit them if you have not already. They will be processed, just not as quickly as the earlier ones.
Those of you who have submitted your AACs and have not yet applied for portfolio for Spring 2017, may do so now. I will issue permission numbers after registration opens on October 31. To apply for Portfolio, go to this link: Apply for Portfolio and complete the online form. The form will document your request and will give me the information that I need to confirm that you are eligible to apply for portfolio and I will then send you a permission number so that you can get enrolled.
As always, if you have any questions, contact me before you take action...thanks!
