We wish more could have attended, but it was GREAT to meet those who could make it to Boise. I believe twelve total MET folks attended and made it out onto "The Blue" to help celebrate our 100th Commencement ceremony. We left with blue lips and red noses (it was only 50F! ... cooler than normal for Boise at this time of year), but it was a good time.
THANK YOU FOR COMING: Patricia, Claire, Brenda, Lisa, Kathy, Kaycie, Jasmine, Charlie, Susane, Ryan, Bill, and Belle, and our three EdD grads, Lisa, Dennis, and Molly.
Here are some pics I got after the ceremony ... wish I'd had the presence of mind to get pics with ALL who made it out. At least Dr. Rice and I got to shake everyone's hands after they walked up to receive their awards.
So nice to see the photos. I wish I had gone, but started a new job 2 months ago (my dream job of instructional designer courtesy of the MET!), and it was our university's graduation too. Plus, I can't use my paid time off yet. But, congrats to all of the graduates, and thanks BSU for being an edtech leader!
Congrats on your new job Carli!! They are lucky to have you!!
Boise also helped me get my current dream job
It was a great day! Wish I could have stayed longer to visit with all, but I had to make the journey home.
I so wanted to be there and meet in person all the great people I have come to know online. My oldest son graduated with his Master's in Clinical Counseling and I attended his graduation in Alabama. Too much distance in between to make both. So excited to see the pictures!
Thanks for sharing, Ross. Congratulations to all!
It was GREAT to see you all and be part of the experience.
Since we got a good seat I was able to snap a 150 pictures or so, lol. I'm sorry I can't show them all (yet), but put some of my favorites into a 2 minute video using all my EdTech 513 multi-media skills (with some help from iPhone).
I'm so pleased to be part of such a cool group. Wishing you all the best of success!
So when does our next class start? ;-p
(The link above is fast, but I also include the embed version for your viewing pleasure, though it may be a bit slower for you. Enjoy either !)
Thanks so much William! Is it ok with you if I share your video on our social media?
Great pics!! thanks for sharing! I sympathize with folks who could not make it as I know it's hard to get away, so that makes the pictures all the more fun. Those PhD (and EdS?) robes look pretty cool !
