If you took EDTECH 501 in spring 2017 and want to continue using Mahara as your learning log--that's great! Just remember we use a Single Sign On (SSO) authentication for Mahara. This means that you must log in to Mahara through Moodle (or be logged in to EDTECH Moodle first). You cannot log in directly to Mahara.
You can access Mahara in a couple of ways--through clicking the Home - Mahara link in the Network Servers block on our EDTECH Moodle home page (located at the lower-right corner):
Or, simply navigate to https://edtech.mrooms.org/mahara (you will need to be logged in to our EDTECH Moodle site).
You can continue to use Mahara to archive, organize, and display your artifacts created in our EDTECH program. I recommend adding the AECT Standards for each of your artifacts as you did in EDTECH 501, providing details on how and why your artifacts align with the chosen standards. Also, add tags for the standards and course numbers so you can easily sort your artifacts. As you know, you can organize content in many ways. You may want to continue making separate collections for each of your courses, for instance.
Feel free to contact me (email@example.com) with any issues or questions concerning Mahara. Using Mahara as a learning log has proven to be an excellent way for you to document and share your artifacts, as well as a social space for interaction with your EDTECH classmates.
