Computer Science Teacher for the 2018-2019 School Year

The Founders Academy public charter school, grades 6-12, seeks an experienced middle-high  school computer science teacher, with a passion for and an in-depth knowledge of digital tools to support academic learning in all content areas. The mission of the school is to develop educated citizens and leaders who are knowledgeable about our past and who will apply the principles expressed in our founding documents to make wise choices to preserve our liberty while preparing students for the 21st century skills to compete in the current technology enriched society we live in. This is a unique opportunity for a computer science teacher/technology integration specialists to participate in the creation of a new, challenging, and meaningful curriculum which emphasizes the use of technology in project-based learning to support skill development for success in all academic areas.  Applicants should be well versed in Google Apps for Education, various web tools such as but not limited to WeVideo, Scratch, Code.org, Prezi, Animoto, and Zaptions. Familiarity with LanSchool is a plus.

The ideal candidate would be Google Level 1 Certified, belief in Gamified Learning Theory, hold NH Certification in either Computer Science or Technology Integration Specialists with 3-5 years experience teaching at the Middle School/ High School level, completed professional training in Exploring Computer Science, and CS Discoveries, with excellent classroom management skills.

Graphic Design using Adobe
Java - Computer Science A
