The Graduate College has just issued a warning, as follows:
"There is a chance that any Application for Admission to Candidacy (AAC) or Proposed Plan of Study (PPS) forms that are not approved by [the Department], by Friday, August 17th, will most likely not be processed by the Graduate College before the December 2018 graduation application deadline."
What this means for our students is that if you fall into one of the following categories, you need to submit the appropriate forms before this Friday, August 17 to be ensured of staying on schedule for graduation:
1) You have completed about 18 credits toward your MET degree, would like to graduate in December 2018, and have not already submitted the AAC, or
2) You are admitted to any certificate program, would like to receive the certificate in December, but have not yet submitted the Proposed Plan of Study.
Without having these documents on file at the Graduate College and Registrar's Office, you will not be able to apply for graduation.
Please don't call or email and ask me to check for you; go to your Student Center, click on the drop-down menu "other requirements" and click on "Academic Requirements", to find out your status. If things don't match up or make sense, then please contact me! Thanks!
