Dordt College is seeking a full-time instructional designer to help faculty members build engaging and effective online learning environments and activities for online, blended, and face-to-face courses at Dordt College.

Candidates should possess strong oral and written communication skills, have experience with building course environments and activities in a learning management system, and possess both practical and theoretical understanding of online strategies for instruction and assessment. The ideal candidate will have experience in online education and curriculum development, as well as a working knowledge of basic HTML and the ability to provide tech support or troubleshooting as it relates to course development, technology-enhanced instruction, and LMS features. A Master’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, or related field is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required.
