To be eligible to apply for graduation, you must have submitted and have had approved, an Application for Admission to Candidacy (AAC) for a degree and a Proposed Plan of Study for a Graduate Certificate (PPSGC) for your certificate program. Each is treated as a separate program by the Graduate College. If you have submitted one, but not the other, the award of the one that has not been submitted is likely to be delayed until you do. If both the AAC and PPSGC have been submitted in time, you may still apply for graduation after the deadline, but a late fee will be assessed. To apply for graduation, go to Apply for Graduation.
If you had planned to graduate in May and have not filed either the Application for Admission to Candidacy or the Proposed Plan of Study for a Graduate Certificate, you have until February 28, 2011, to do so to be eligible for an August graduation.
If you need to check on your status, go first to your Academic Requirements in your Student Center, then, if there are issues, contact Graduate Admissions at (208) 426-3903, or email@example.com.
