Heba - congratulations to all the FREE people of Egypt. It is refreshing to see that people can still make their voices heard! The entire democratic world looks forward to seeing your country set up a government BY the people and FOR the people! A long road lies ahead, but Egyptians have already traveled so far for so long, that I am sure they will be successful!

Thanks for your viewpoint from an Egyptian citizen. From some of the news reports in the USA, it was sometimes difficult to decide if a despot was being removed, or an extremist faction was trying to take over.

Congratulations, and good luck! The idea of another, true democracy in the middle east is uplifting. I hope the country is able to transition smoothly to a new government, dedicated to peace.

I'm very happy for you and your country. I've been trying to discuss with my 5th graders what was going on in your country, but it's been a difficult task. I was wondering if you had time to write a short letter to my 5th grade students (it doesn't have to be specific to my students) explaining what has happened in Egypt, why it happened, and how it has impacted you. Probably the last thing you need is a homework assignment so if you don't have time I understand, I just thought it may help my 5th graders to hear a personal account of the situation.

Dear all, I really don't know how to describe you my feeling about your words and your support. I want to write more about this revolution, how it happened and how it ended. If you just please give me some time, because I am trying to catch up what I missed in the last three weeks. I have a lot of assignments to do.
