By the way, try cutting and pasting a bit.ly link into the address bar and then adding a "+" symbol after it and press enter. It will show you the actual address and statistics about what country/place it was referred from and the number of referrel links there are for it.
I appreciate the useful tip. I use google's url shortener because I use Chrome. I looked up a shortcut and saw that if you add ".info" at the end of the "goo.gl" shortened url you will see your stats. Thanks for the tech tip.
