I am finally able to enter the url for the comments, but NOTHING I try will draw in posts. I noticed that the feed for comments required a rss2 feed (I use Wordpress and the ChipZero theme). Here is the page I've been using to help me make sense of this issue: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-add-a-rss-feed-to-my-blog
Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong and/or how to pull in the proper rss?
Thanks in advance!
There is an issue with moodle that needs to be updated. Basically it does not like the = sign in the url. http://www.readwriteworld.org/?feed=rss2
Here is a link to the page that explains the issue http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-23624
Also Moodle 1.x does not like rss2 or Atom feeds. I don't remember if BSU made the change over to 2.0 or not.
RSS feeds have always been more of an art in moodle than science. Good luck.
+1 for DS106, I think what Jim Groom does is truly inspiring.
I might need more context. So, you want to have a button on your site that a user can click on and add your feed to their RSS reader?
In any event, I think I am just going to start a new blog for my work at Boise State.
It looks like your feed is here:
I would see if you can tweek the RSS plugin you have or simply remove it and try another. Wordpress has a number of one's that work.
Hope this helps
