This is a notification that the previously reported site connectivity issues have been resolved and service to all customer sites have been restored.
Update: Although our initial notification reported that customers began experiencing intermittent site connectivity issues at 1:54pm ET (10:54am PT), upon further investigation, we discovered that all customer sites first experienced connectivity issues at 1:45pm ET (10:45am PT).
Additionally: • Service to joule/Power sites was restored at 2:15pm ET (11:15pm PT) • Service to joule 2/Power 2 sites was restored at 2:45pm ET (11:45am PT)
The Cause: Due to a failure of a storage processor, the stability of numerous servers in our environment were impacted, leading to connectivity issues for all customers.
The Fix: After the storage processor failover was complete, Moodlerooms Technology Operations restarted several infrastructure applications, thereby restoring service to normal.
Is this problem effecting the edtech2 server-specificially my ability to put files--8.55 PM, Eastern Time, 9/10/12?
The two are unrelated. Moodle Rooms hosts our moodle server whereas we host our edtech2 server.
I am not able to connect right now to edtech2 with my credentials so I think the server needs to be restarted. Unfortunately that can't be done until tomorrow when TechServices gets in. I will keep trying and post an update if I am able to connect.
