with an official Edtech t-shirt!
The t-shirts are available for purchase only through this Link
The profit generated from t-shirt sales will go to the Edtech Dept.’s Scholarships.
Any chance we could get a sweatshirt or hoodie with either design? It's currently 3 degrees where I am, and something with long sleeves would look a bit more appealing to me at this time.
A hoodie would be great (-28 degrees F here this past weekend). But again, as others below mentioned, shipping is outrageous.
Would love a shirt but I think most of us commute to school online, the Fed Ex shipping is outragous....$13.00 is the cheapest delivery method to me in Missouri.
LOL, I totally agree. I just tried to buy one and got to the shipping prices. It cost more to ship than the actual shirt.
I had the same frustration when I tried to order one yesterday. I love the idea of supporting EdTech scholarships (and having a fun, new shirt), but I don't love $13 shipping on something that costs $17 and weighs less than a pound.
I had one ordered until I saw the $16 shipping charge.
I agree with you all. I would love a shirt and would love to support the scholarship, but $17.95 shipping on a $17.00 shirt is a bit much to get it to TN. If they'll bring the cost down on shipping, I'll order one.
Ditto. Would like to support the scholoarship and program, but shipping cost is prohibitive.
We would love to have you support the EdTech department. I would't want you to miss out if the limited shipping option is the issue. If any of you can wait to have your shirts shipped until sometime during Christmas break, I would be glad to pick them up directly from Shadows when I get mine and charge you exactly what it costs for shipping. Even the US Postal Service has tracking now, so any option shouldn't be very expensive.
You will need to email me directly with your shipping address and I can get you a quote for the least expensive, yet trackable shipping to your zipcode. (I am attaching a couple of photos to show you examples from Boise to Kansas City, MO.) After I send you the quote, you could then send me a check for the shipping and I will get the order off to you.
I will have to wait until break to send them, though, since I am swamped right now with work. Just let me know if you are interested.

That seems like a crazy amount of work for you! Possibly you could print these comments out and show it to the company when you pick your shirt up? Maybe they will see that if they use USPS or UPS they would get a lot of people who want these great shirts! I mean if I was a company owner and saw how many people wanted a shirt I would fix the issue ASAP!
Let us know,
The simple envelope version of USPS, which will easily hold at least 2 t-shirts, costs $5.60 and includes tracking. My husband has been getting very large long sleeve shirts off of eBay and they arrive totally stuffed in one of those "letter" size envelopes. It is one of those USPS packaging situations where if it fits, it ships. Being their packaging thing- it is the same price to ship anywhere in the US- no zones to worry about.
Thanks for the cost info on shipping. I agree that it is not reasonable. Likewise, I was interested in buying a shirt, but I will have to pass due to the shipping rate.
Great! I think many of us would love to support the EdTech department and show off our Boise State shirts!
Okay, I spoke to the folks at Shadows and they realize that is a prohibitive price for shipping, by only offering FedEx. They are getting back to me after checking into it. Stay tuned for further updates.
There is also no shipping outside of the US. I'd like to support the scholarships, but can't get it sent north of the 49th.
After conferring with Shadows, they will honor the Priority Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope shipping price of $5.95 per every 2 shirts within the U.S. (Just FYI - Shadows prints the shirts in batches, because otherwise, they would have to set up the print screen. From experience, that is an expensive, time-consuming process and would create an extra cost for each individual order.) Priority mail is guaranteed 2-3 day delivery with an assigned tracking number.
I have not be on their site today, but they are supposed to be changing the shipping cost to reflect this new agreement. I will contact them Thursday to make sure that the cost gets changed, if it hasn't been already.
@Elijah Ahlquist, if you can get me more information about your location, you will be able to get the shirts to you as well, using whatever economical shipping option works for you.
Just to clarify:
The cost of shipping is $5.95 per envelope that will hold up to 2 shirts. If you order more than 2 shirts, you will need to add another $5.95 to send a second envelope.

New shipping option isn't showing as available yet. Definitely want to get my order in by the printing on the 15th, so I hope it happens soon! Thanks so much for negotiating a reasonable shipping option so those of us far from Boise can show our Ed Tech pride.
Choose the "In-store Pickup" and then email me with your shirt quantity (firstname.lastname@example.org). As soon as the new batch is ready for pickup, I will ship your order and email you the tracking number. Thanks!
I just ordered a t-shirt and stated in store pick-up, but did not see the flat rate for you to ship to me. Who do I pay the $5.95 fee to? How do I do that since I ordered the t-shirt already? Please advise.

I collect the shipping fees and then ship out the shirts when they are ready. Please contact me through my email (email@example.com) and we can talk about payment options. Sending a check or paying through PayPal or Google Wallet are all acceptable. Thanks!
Shadows called and they are having trouble adding our shipping agreement onto their website, so they are going to show "In-store Pickup" as the only shipping option. However, they are including my email address to obtain shipping information. In other words, follow these steps and you will get your shirt(s) at the most economical shipping rate:
1. Follow the link above and order your EdTech shirt,
2. At the shipping option, choose "In-store Pickup."
3. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know how many shirts you ordered.
The cost is:
$5.95 = 1-2 shirts USPS Priority Mail (least expensive, trackable shipping for 2 shirts)
Any shirt quantities over two will be sent at the least expensive, yet trackable shipping. If you want it shipped using a specific company, like UPS or FedEx, I will be glad to accommodate you. Outlets for UPS, FedEx and the US Post Office are all fairly close to Shadows.
4. After receipt of your email, I will send you the option(s) for shipping and then we can communicate regarding the method of payment.
It's all set on this end, so order away!
I got one of each in the ladies sizes. They are really nice. Thank you
