Cool. I've never heard of this before. Is this part of NWMET, or is it different?
Nope. It's different. Last year it was in Spokane and the year before that it was in Portland.
Below are the main EdTech Organizations in the Northwest that I am aware of.
NCCE - http://www.ncce.org
NCCE is a professional learning organization for educators and hosts the largest education conference in the Northwest. With a membership base from Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, NCCE provides resources and professional learning opportunities to our members throughout the year.
NWeLearn - http://www.nwelearn.org
The mission of the Northwest eLearning Community is to promote a community of faculty, administrators, and support staff to share ideas and provide mutual support related to the use of technologies, tools, and techniques for the advancement of technology-based teaching and learning.
NWMET - http://nwmet.org
NW/MET is an organization bridging tradition and innovation for academics. We are an organization of Educational Technology units at universities and colleges in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and in western Canada.
Thanks for sharing, Patrick. I might submit something to the eLearn conference. Are you involved or know anyone on the planning committee? I wonder if we could use this as an opportunity to plug some of the stuff we're doing at Boise State (or if people are already working on that).
