The window to apply for EDTECH 592-Portfolio for Summer Session 2015 is fast approaching (February 17). In order to qualify to take Portfolio and receive a permission number to register, students must have completed the following three actions prior to submitting the Portfolio Application:
- Submitted an Application for Admission to Candidacy (AAC) for your MET degree.
- Applied for Graduation in my.BoiseState for your degree.
- Completed all core courses for the degree.
Please refer to your Academic Advisement Report to determine whether or not you have completed all core courses and have submitted an Application for Admission to Candidacy; check your Student Center to determine whether you need to Apply for Graduation or have already done so.
Once those conditions are met, students may then Apply for Portfolio online in order to be issued a permission number. This summer, there are two changes of which you need to be aware: 1) the session during which the Portfolio class will be offered is the 2nd Seven-Week session, which is a week shorter than before, and 2) the cap on enrollees in each section will be twelve (12). In the past, this number of sections and this cap has met the demand.
So, if you intend to take Portfolio this summer, you need to take action now on any incomplete item of the three listed above. If you Apply for Portfolio and the above conditions have not been met, your application will be kept on a date-stamped list until the conditions have been met, at which time all valid applications will be processed in the order they were received until each section reaches capacity.
