Thanks to you Joe for being a great student! Congratulations on a huge accomplishment. Please keep in touch and let us all know what you do with your degree. We love hearing from our graduates. Your suggestion for other students is really appreciated. And, thanks for my kudos! I'm sorry I won't be in Boise for commencement, but if you ever get down to San Diego, I'd love to meet you in person. Jerry will be at commencement and some faculty as well. Enjoy. Dixie
Thanks for the great advice Joe. I want to wish you, and the rest of the MET graduates the best of luck on your future adventures. It was such a pleasure learning with you these past years.
Oh, and Dixie, you're in San Diego? That's so close. I am in Thousand Oaks. Small world.
Yep, Jennifer, I used to live in Santa Barbara which is even closer to Thousand Oaks. That's a nice area for sure!!
If you ever get down to San Diego, give me ring!
I once did a hot air balloon ride over San Diego almost 20 years ago. Very beautiful.
Dixie Connor was my first contact also. Even after the admission process, she reached out to me to see how things were going. I certainly appreciated it. Excellent advise about the learning log as well. While we did this throughout the program, we were the first to move to the 2012 standards which proved challenging. Fortunately, those that come after us will benefit from our portfoloio examples.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in this program. To echo your sentiment, I am a grateful to every professor and classmate for their role in making me a better practitioner. I look forward to meeting as many as possible in May!
Good luck, my friend.
Your sentiments are so similar to any that I might have hoped to express here in this public forum. As ready as I am to be finished, I am also really struggling to say goodbye! This M.E.T. program has been a truly life-changing experience for me. I am so grateful for the faculty for the quality of instruction I have received. I, too, hope to celebrate with as many as are in attendance on May 9, to thank each one in person.
For those that won't be in attendance, you will be missed! Thank you for all that you have done for me and my peers in this ed tech endeavor.
