The Journal of Educational Technology and Society has accepted a peer-reviewed article by Rice and a colleague on value-added results for public virtual schools in California.
She published a textbook called The Blended Classroom: A Guide for Technology-Supported Learning.
Rice also presented twice at the annual conference of the Society for Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education (SITE). With Boise State EdTech colleagues Yu-Hui Ching and Yu-Chang Hsu, she presented on prospective online teachers’ experiences and priority areas for training. And with other experts, she participated in a panel discussion on using data to ensure quality in K-12 online education.
On top of that, she won an honorable mention in the Golden Apple competition in which Boise State students recognize favorite instructors!
