We are pleased to announce the availability of a new digital resource! The University's Albertsons Library maintains an excellent eBook collection, and now there's one more to add to the list due in part to an award won for the department by one of our Ed.D. students.

In November 2014, at the AECT Conference in Jacksonville, Florida, Sheri Anderson (an instructional designer at UNC-Wilmington, and a member of the 2013 Ed.D. cohort) was part of a two-person team who presented as finalists in the annual PacifiCorp design competition. The competition is co-sponsored by AECT's Design & Development Division. Though Sheri and her colleague, Beth, did not take home the top prize, being one of three teams to make the final round was an outstanding accomplishment!
For having a design selected for the final round, each teammate received an award of $50.00 that was paid to the student's home department. As a way to best leverage this award, additional funds from the Department of Educational Technology were contributed to allow for the purchase of the Murphy and Rodríguez-Manzanares electronic text (valued at $132.00).
Thanks to Sheri for her hard work, and thanks to AECT for recognizing her accomplishment! We hope that all in our BSU EdTech community can benefit from this excellent eBook now available to them.
As a reminder, be sure to bookmark the Albertson's Library Ed Tech Guide, maintained by the librarian designated for our department, Margie Ruppel. It is a great place to start one's research!
