I am a May 2015 grad who teaches with the Job Corps program. Our students take the TABE test which has a math numeracy section that includes, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, operations involving decimals, integers and fractions and percent problems. Any chance you might develop apps for all of those?
I plan on sharing this with my colleagues. I also wish I took this course. Is it possible to take course after graduation just for the purpose of learning?
Hi Joe, It was great to meet you at graduation! I hope that things are well with you...
Yes, you may take courses after graduation. Depending upon how long it has been since you last were enrolled, you simply go to the Graduate College website Admissions page and go through the admission process. If you've been admitted before, you will not have to pay an admittance fee again. Please contact me if you have any difficulties with the admissions process!
In fact, we would like to continue to foster long-term relationships with graduated students. As you know, technology advances at a rapid pace and the EDTECH department is constantly looking to develop courses in emerging technologies, such as Dr. Hsu's new course, "Maker Tech". It would be our desire to hear from our students who are "in the field" and need additional training in areas of educational technology so that courses could be developed. Likewise, if a new course is developed that meets the needs of our alumni, we would be gratified if you'd feel led to join us!
Hi Paul, I would love a course in basic HTML. So many of the WYSWYG editors in products such as Blackboard, SharePoint, and SoftChalk have quirks requiring HTML knowledge.
