Interested in curriculum development for nutrition? The NutriBee intervention, developed and researched at Johns Hopkins Center for Human Nutrition, is proven to engage preadolescents in healthful nutrition behaviors. It’s 20 hours of interactive learning implemented in camps and afterschool clubs. It’s co-instructed by teachers and health professionals. However, the training manuals were formatted for health professionals. That’s where you come in – to make the materials accessible to teachers! Please visit NutriBee.org for an overview and sample materials. Graduate credit and a $400 stipend can be arranged. Please submit a letter of application and samples of prior work in curriculum development to Dr. Kerry Rice (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than Friday, September 4.
