Announcement of Schedule Change - Summer 2016
EDTECH courses will be offered in a variable schedule in summer 2016. There are now multiple sessions available with courses offered during the first 7-week session, second 7-week session, and 10 week sessions. Courses that require more time to complete have been moved into the 10 week session. Our core classes and a variety of electives are offered during both 7-week sessions. The Boise State academic calendar contains dates for all of the different sessions: http://registrar.boisestate.edu/boise-state-academic-calendars/
The EDTECH website has a schedule page showing when all of our courses are typically offered: http://edtech.boisestate.edu/course-schedule-2/. Thank you for doing this! I will be graduated by then, but it's something I felt would be beneficial to students!
I agree Cambria. I hope I see you at graduation in the fall. Three more courses to go, one in the spring and one in he summer, of course, along with the portfolio.
Miss having you in my courses Cambria. You and Shannon. Hopefully we will all graduate together.
Shannon and I are graduating May 7, in the Spring. Sorry we won't be with you! I hope all is well... Sounds like you're moving along great!
Keep in touch,
This is a great resource. It is valuable to be able to plan ahead for the summer. Thanks!
Great. I can do my final course and the portfolio. Looking forward to graduation. Thanks for putting students first. The seven week course was so jam packed.
While I will be graduated by then, this will be a BIG benefit to all students. 7 weeks was a whirlwind that didn't allow for many extracurricular activities, spreading the courses out over two sessions and even a longer session will be a move in the right direction for many classes. While I know I learned A LOT taking 505 and 542 in the summer, it was so intense and so fast, I am not sure how much long-term retention I will have.
